From pine-fringed smoothwater expanses to thrilling whitewater, and Georgian Bay's fractured water-landscape, this boundary water between southern and northern Ontario has it all. We begin our journey from Wolseley Bay and explore the historic trade route all the way to the town of French River, pulling out at the world class visitors' centre. This river offers plenty of opportunities to improve whitewater paddling skills, and myriad high-quality shoreline and island campsites.
